The perfect Fall Saturday has free books, a story time, poetry, and community building like never before.
On Saturday September 26th, The Henry’s Books Foundation will host their inaugural fundraiser, The Spearfish Story Swap, at Henry’s Books—it will be the perfect Saturday indeed!
This fundraiser benefits the whole ecosystem of readers and writers in our area:
A Split the Pot Raffle—half the pot goes to The Henry’s Books Foundation and half goes to another organization of the winner’s choosing from our selection of local, literary-oriented non-profits. You can buy your raffle tickets beginning September 12 during the Harvest Fest, all the way up until we draw the winner at the end of the fundraiser day!
Community Building for Writers—local creatives will be able connect with the area writing groups and deepen relationships with their fellow writers
Sustainable Book Ownership—swap books FOR FREE with fellow community members throughout the day
Story Time—kiddos of all ages will enjoy a story time AND take home some free books!
